I am familiar with the chainflex cables from igus and know the required specifications and bend radii of my cables.
I know the environmental variables of my application and would like to choose and configure my cables conveniently online.
I am not sure which cables to choose and require further information regarding structure, shielding and so on.
I am looking for cable types: control cables, bus cables, data cables, motor cables, fibre optic cables, etc.
I would like to save costs and know the technical requirements of my cable. Now I want to find the most cost-effective cable.
We too! For many years, we have been manufacturing cables specifically for energy chains. It is particularly important to us to test all cables extensively so that they last a long time in your applications.
Today we can give you a guarantee of up to 36 months on chainflex cables. In addition, our guarantee promise is also UL verified. But how did the guarantee come about, and how was it certified?
Discover our new products from this year here. You can expect exciting products around the topics: measuring system solutions for drive technology, a robot cable with exceptionally large torsion angle, an unprecedented service life guarantee and a new approval for TopDrive e-chains cables
We at igus make absolutely sure that our chainflex cables fulfil all guidelines and approval regulations and the most important standards worldwide. You can find out which standards and approvals are involved and in which regions of the world they play a special role here.

One of eleven new products, the chainflex CASE serves as a simple transport and storage option. The cable can now be unreeled easily right where it will be used.
Our cables meet all RoHS II and REACH requirements that are currently valid, as well as every standard in electromagnetic compatibility. They are certified according to UL, DNV, EAC, CTP and CE and are also approved and certified for use in systems according to EtherCAT, CC-Link, CC-Link IE Field, Profibus, Profinet and Interbus.
A wide range of cable types with different jacket materials ensures a high reliability in energy chains. igus chainflex cables withstand various applications with tremendous speed and acceleration, long travels and most unfavourable surrounding conditions.
Most cables are rarely seen. They are protected against unfavourable surroundings. The application areas are primarily restricted to seabeds, masts where they function as so-called overhead cables, or underground applications. In contrast to electrical engineering, the term is becoming more and more popular in communication and information technology.
In contrast to concealed cables, we encounter exposed cables much more frequently in everyday life. Similar to concealed cables, these (usually multi-core) cables are also used for energy or data transfer. In addition to high-voltage cables as well-known and visible cable types, cables for connecting TVs to game consoles or for charging a mobile phone are common everyday examples.
For cables that run in an energy chain, a particularly intensive "look" is required:
Ready-to-connect energy chain systems and heavy-duty special cables ensure a smooth operation of the pick and place machines.
Measuring system cable from igus also transmits signals safely over very large distances and ensures high machine availability.
For quick handling applications, such as in these automated drug stores, metal-free fibre optic cables from igus ensure high transmission rates.
With a travel of 441.3 metres, the tensile forces can be reduced by about 75%.
