New slewing ring bearing products

With the iglidur® PRT-04 with precise locking, igus is expanding the PRT-04 series with a version for applications with defined positions. The integrated locking mechanism enables locking points in 90° increments and ensures a clearance-free fixation of the rotary movement.

The slewing ring bearing has a compact design and is part of the modular system of the PRT-04 series. This means it can be flexibly integrated into existing designs and combined with other components.

The maximum holding force of the locking bolt is 700N. Replaceable sliding elements enable customisation and help to extend the service life. Operation is completely lubrication-free and therefore low-maintenance.

Typical areas of use are applications in mechanical engineering and automation where repeatable positioning is required.

With the iglidur® PRT-05 Kompact, igus is expanding the PRT-05 series with an exceptionally space-saving version for applications with limited installation space. The optimised design with reduced outer ring makes the slewing ring bearing particularly suitable for installation situations in which standard solutions cannot be used.

The PRT-05-94-PC-CP-AL model combines a lightweight structure of just 80g with a compact installation size of 122mm in diameter. At the same time, it represents a cost-effective alternative within the series.

Manufactured from at least 75% regranulate and designed for lubrication-free operation, the bearing enables low-maintenance use. Typical applications can be found in mechanical engineering, automation and compact designs with limited installation space.

With the iglidur® PRT-05-94-PC, igus is expanding the proven low-cost slewing ring series with a larger installation size, thus responding to the requirements of many users. The slewing ring bearing made of solid plastic offers durable slewing ring ball bearings with a lightweight structure and impresses with a simplified design consisting of just two components. This makes the bearing ideal for applications where higher loads and a large diameter are required. By being manufactured from at least 75% regranulate, the PRT-05-94-PC supports the sustainable use of resources and fulfils modern requirements for environmental friendliness. Tested in the in-house igus laboratory, the bearing demonstrates a high load capacity, particularly with axial load support, and is therefore ideal for panelling, control panels or display adjustments where robustness and durability are paramount.

The new iglidur® PRT-02-20-AL-DRI enables simple and reliable assembly. Thanks to the integrated spacer ring, the slewing ring bearing can be mounted directly and flush on flat surfaces - without any additional undercuts or cut-outs. This reduces the processing effort and makes installation easier. The bearing is based on the tried-and-tested PRT-04 design with spacer ring and is available in various sizes so that it can be used flexibly in different applications. The lubrication-free plain bearing technology ensures maintenance-free operation and contributes to a resource-saving and clean solution.

With the iglidur® PRT-02-20-AL-CP, igus is launching a particularly space-saving, strong and lightweight solution for confined installation conditions. As a low-cost alternative to the PRT-04-CP, the PRT-02-AL-CP offers savings without sacrificing performance. In addition, the bearing requires no lubricant, which not only saves resources but also makes a positive contribution to the environment. The PRT-02-AL-CP combines a space-saving design, sustainability and reliability - ideal for applications where space is limited and high load capacity is required at the same time.

Stop-dogs can now also be customised
The PRT-05-15-PC-TS-360 consists of injection-moulded components that are cost-effective to manufacture and easy to assemble. The simple design ensures a lightweight, strong construction. The integrated angle stop enables rotary movements as standard and can be customised upon request. iglidur P4 and iglidur M260 were selected for the materials, as they showed the best performance in the test and offer a long service life.

The PRT-04-CP is the compact version of our high-performer PRT-04. This product is 60% lighter, offers 50% more space savings and is 20% more cost-effective than the PRT-01. It has universal sliding elements made of iglidur J and an extensive modular system. The new space-saving version has been specially developed for small assembly.

Rotational movements over 360° possible
The PRT-04-TS-360 makes it possible to quickly and individually adjust the stop-dogs to prevent rotation of the PRT slewing ring bearing at defined points. A new feature is that the stop can be realised over 360° and can even be extended up to 720° upon request.

PTFE-free all-rounder
The iglidur slewing ring bearing PRT-04 with aluminium housing and iglidur® JPF sliding elements contains no PTFE.

PRT-06-100: up to 85% more cost-effective compared to the PRT-04
The new PRT slewing ring bearing is particularly light, flat and cost-effective compared to the rest of our PRT series. At just 8mm, it is also only half as high as the slewing ring bearing of the PRT-04 series.
