Smoothing

Smoothing components significantly reduces surface roughness, improving the feel. The methods available are chemical smoothing and vibratory finishing. In both cases, the wall must be at least 1mm thick to ensure your component is stable and manufactured correctly.

Colouring

In our 3D printing service, the colouring of the component in black can be booked immediately in the online tool. Other colours are available upon request. Depending on the application, colouring can reduce the wear resistance by up to a factor of three. The mechanical specifications remain virtually unchanged. A minimum wall thickness of 1mm is required for colouring.
