DEGER relies on igubal® ESQM-bearing for single-axis tracking systems

DEGER, known for its innovative solar tracking systems, was faced with the challenge of further optimising the efficiency and reliability of its single-axis tracking systems. The unique MLD technology, which always aligns solar modules to the most energetic point, required high-quality bearings that could withstand the high mechanical load and at the same time be maintenance-free. The introduction of igubal® ESQM-bearing from igus® proved to be the ideal solution for DEGER. These special bearings are not only robust and durable, but also completely maintenance-free, which significantly reduces operating costs. The split ESQM-bearing allows for easy and quick assembly, reducing installation time and increasing efficiency. Thanks to their high load capacity and resistance to environmental influences, they are perfectly suited to the requirements of solar tracking systems. With the integration of the igubal® ESQM-bearing, DEGER was able to significantly increase the performance and reliability of its single-axis tracking systems. These bearings help to ensure that DEGER's MLD technology functions optimally and that the solar modules are always precisely aligned to the most energy-rich area.
