Rotary-drive unit for linear robots

Extending linear robots' degrees of freedom

Rotary swivel unit with rotation arrows for multiple axes.

Increase the performance of your multi-axis linear robots cost-effectively with additional degrees of freedom. Our innovative solutions enable precise rotation and swivelling of end effectors and components around their own axis, significantly increasing the flexibility and efficiency of your automation processes.

Tech up

Extension of existing linear robots by 1 to 2 degrees of freedom

Cost down

Cost-effective axes due to plastic components

Proof

Performance data confirmed by extensive tests in the igus® laboratory

Sustainability

Lightweight construction reduces energy consumption

Rotary-drive unit in use

In the video, the rotary-drive unit demonstrates its versatility: It lifts products safely, transports them precisely to their destination and, thanks to the integrated rotary unit, enables precise rotation around its own axis. This innovative technology improves processes and offers numerous possible applications in automation.
