The drygear® Apiro® heavy duty is the reinforced version of the proven Apiro® lead screw gearbox and was developed specifically for applications where higher loads, more stability, and precisely guided linear movement are required.
Thanks to the robust heavy duty housing, the gearbox is ideally suited for demanding environments in automation, packaging, and Mechanical Engineering. The linear movement is generated directly from the rotational movement of the gearbox, which enables a compact, clearance-free, and reliable stroke movement.
Like all Apiro® gearboxes, the heavy-duty version also works lubrication-free in dry operation. This reduces maintenance requirements and downtime, and facilitates use in dirt-sensitive or hygiene-critical areas.
At igus®, Apiro® stands for modular, cost-efficient gearbox solutions. The heavy-duty worm gear screw jack can be easily integrated into the Apiro® gearbox modular system and operated both manually and by motor. Thanks to the modular design, individual solutions can be implemented quickly and cost-effectively.
