Each screw support is made of hard-anodized aluminum and fitted with dry-running iglide plain bearings or xiros polymer ball bearings, so there's no grease to reapply and nothing to trap dust or chips. Supports are available for trapezoidal (TR) and high-helix (DS) lead screws with thread sizes from 6 to 24mm.
Choose the screw support type that matches your drive. A fixed-bearing support clamps the lead screw and secures it axially and radially, typically at the motor end, and pairs with our matching lead screw clamping rings for secure axial retention. A floating-bearing support guides the opposite end radially while allowing the screw to expand and contract with temperature changes. Most lead screw drives pair one fixed and one floating support. For higher speeds and motor-driven applications, versions with xiros ball bearings reduce friction for smoother rotation.
